If every FP$ were $100...

Argh! For topatoe's sake man! I am not Michael Scott! I am just using his epicness to describe myself!

Everything else would just increase 100x, but I'd sit back and watch the chaos unfold 😛

So, hypothetical situation time...

Overnight, Mike is sitting at his computer when he gets bored and decides that from now on, no FP$ will be organically obtained at all, and only the FP$ currently in circulation will exist. The next morning riots break out and the Community Matters forum is chaos.

Eventually things settle down and suddenly overnight Fergal decides to go big - he converts the site to an off-topic site and he starts rolling out a TV advert campaign (he recently became an Internet millionaire with the huge growth of BAF). He buys 10 dedicated servers ready for lots of traffic...

then BOOM! Remember the FP$ in circulation is still all that exists. The real world price of FP$ grows dramatically, and eventually hits a record of 100$. So me here, I have 7000FP$. I would then have $700,000 just like that!

Oh we can dream... how much would you have and what would you do with it?

Well, at the moment, I have 127.00 FP$ and if that were real money, I would have $127.00 (in US Currency). As for what I'd do with it? If I really wanted to I could save up for a year, keep doing posts and being active and such, and eventually switch Chatting Time to VB and find out how Vbulletin really works, as I've only ever been a co-administrator on a VB ran forum before. That'd be kind of cool, really.

Edit: If this really were to happen, and FP turned into a general chat forum, I'd be even more active than I am currently because next to forum administration, general chat is my favorite genera of forums!

I'd have 57,700$ omg, I could buy paid hosting with that lol.

I'm pretty sure you could get a little more than just paid hosting with $57,700

I am prepared for life ahead now, over $600,000!

If you were old enough to retire, that'd be good for a person to live on, wouldn't it? I mean, sure, it wouldn't last them the rest of their lives, but it would last them quite some time though... of course, it depends on how they decided to spend it.
