If Forum Promotion became yours, what would you do differently?

And for those reading what others would do, do you think that would improve or hurt the site?

Remove all the staff and replace them with robots.

In all seriousness I would create some posting packages that require real money with lower wait periods.

I remember that was a plan when I was PTL but nothing really happened.

Create a survey and ask the members what they want.

A community is already established here. I wouldn't want to make single change unless the community was onboard with it. Otherwise, the community would diminish.

Most acquired forums fail because the new owner doesn't put the community's opinions first.

I’d probably make it a bit more interactive. Like add small gamification, badges, levels, or weekly challenges. Those things will make people feel like they belong to the community.

I would hard code a feature for forum/site battles so every battle is tracked in the database with stats/results. I would also offer paid posting packages, or a way to purchase FP $.

If Forum Promotion were mine, I’d give it a bit of a modern refresh. The forum scene’s changed, so I’d expand FP beyond just forums to include Discord servers, YouTube channels, and small web projects too.

I’d clean up the layout, update the design, and make the promotion sections simpler and more useful, maybe with auto bumps or a featured projects area. The credit system could be more rewarding too, like earning badges or ad space through activity.

Overall, I’d just make FP feel more modern and community focused without losing what makes it familiar and welcoming.

I would offer very inexpensive hosting for those starting a new forum. And possibly making a deal with Xenforo
to offer discounts with xenforo's license and upgrades. Also would partner with addon creators to offer discounts to users
