If I was to make a forum host what software should I use?

I bought the domain and hosting but I want to know what multi-forum software I should use, what do you guys want?

I know of myBB, phpBB, ipV or what ever it is and punBB. That's the free ones I know off, so what do you guys want to see?

You should use XenForo or IPB. If you don’t have the money for either one of those, try MyBB.

You can get the ipb multi-forum script for free. And incase anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about it's a script where you sign up for forums 😉

IPB license costs money.

If you were to do premium hosting i would do vB.

if you are going for free then I would say phpbb.

Or make your own.

I would recommend MyBB. It's the best forum system I have found.

U cant have a xenforo forum host. You need a license for each copy of xenforo which is $140. You need a license for IPB also, but the ones invisionfree, jcink, etc others ipb freeforum hosts are using is the 1.3 version which was released free, and after it all versions became paid. Its illegal to use ipb 1.3 now unless you have a original copy since it was available. Which there isnt.

Use MyBB or prophpbb.

If you can afford it, get IPB.
