I don't think it would be as good as it sounds. Without doing anything for years, I would lose whatever I need to earn my living and if that person were to disappear then I would be in deep trouble. What about you?

Unless you're rich or you saved up enough money to retire, I think the correct answer is No. No one wants to go unemployed and risk losing what they have. It's not exactly the wisest or the most mature decision to make.
