I wouldn't want a big site... When a site or forum gets big it loses alot of fun and instead it turns out to be more of a pain in the backside and there is always problems and it does your head in.

More trouble then its worth...

Not entirely true. I think owning a huge site could be alot of fun as it gives you something to work and spend alot of time on.

That being said, I'd love to own either Google.com, IGN.com, or YouTube.com. 😉

That is the case of this forum. This is not fun running or even just being an admin and it is constant problems. It was good when FP was small. Now too many problems and arguements.

I would own this site called Forum Promotion!
Seriously, you wouldn't.

Yeah I can see how running a big forum would be problematic and hard. So if I had to choose something it would be a successful board that really doesn't require some maintenance.

I would want to make some executive decisions, but not every single decision that is made.

Id wanna own xfire, just own it... Not have to run it or anything, id hire staff for that ^^.

I wouldn't own any, as people said before its a pain, I go to a forum with over 13,000 members and close to 500,000 posts. Its thought to see the admins and moderators control it. Even with 11 admins and 9 moderators. I would probably moderate it tho.

Google would be nice, I am sure they make a lot of money off of it.
Youtube... It would be hard to run and you would have to work on the servers and such a lot. Probably lots of work with it.
Facebook... It is great now, but in 10 years it probably won't be as popular. But who knows. Hopefully Facebook will stay popular as I really don't feel like joining another network and having to find all my friends again lol.

Back on topic, Facebook would take a lot of work. After all, you are responsible for millions of users' data, privacy, etc etc.
