...which instrument would you choose?

---

For me it would have to the Piano. Absolutely love the wide variety of music they can make, the fact they can go from a full on head banging noise to a quiet, gentle and relaxing melody fascinates me.

On top of that, I'd love to be able to play piano by ear - having the ability to hear a piece of music and instantly re-create it in acoustic form on the piano.

What about you?

Either guitar or drums. Don't have small enough fingers for guitar, but can do a little with chords and such. Drums is easy for me for simple beats and 4/4 time. Double kicking and advanced beats are just too hard unless I put much time into it.

I know some people that can do that. I've been working about 6 months towards perfect pitch. As long as I consistently listen to music and think about the pitch, I won't lose what I already have.

Take a music theory class at your college (or university if that's what it's called in England), you shouldn't have much trouble picking it up 🙂

Would choose a bass; either upright or electric bass. I'm saving up some $$ to buy one soon though, which'll be hopefully be very soon 😀. I can already play the piano and tenor sax.

What brand are you looking at?

Honestly Dunno. If I'd go with an electric bass looking at getting a Fender, but I'm now thinking over if I should get a fretless bass, in which case I don't know what brand yet.

I wouldn't start off with a fretless. They're quite expensive and take a little time to get used to. I started on a Fender, but switched to Ibanez. Fender has a much thicker neck (an Ibanez 5 string is a tiny bit thinker than a Fender 4 string) and is a lot bigger.

Thanks for the suggestion 🙂. Only reason I'm thinking of going with a fretless is so I can adapt to a double bass easier.

The Piano - I play a bit - would love to do more now .....

I'd probably want to play the Ocarina, since I already know how to play the Flute as well as the Tenor Saxophone.

I play the Guitar, if I wanted to play another, I would go with the drums.

I can play any instrument.
I would love to be able to play the piano or guitar "well" though. 😛
