If you could sell your forum, would you?

So you're on online one day checking your Site Emails to find a legitimate Email from someone offering a huge amount of money for your forum. They say for £xx,xxx they want total control of the forum, and you're not allowed to start up another forum with the same name, content, idea or any of that.

Would you sell it?

I think selling an active forum is a bad idea. you could probably make that much money on ads in about a year or so. But seeing how a #1 google site for the search 'runescape forum' went to pieces in a week or so, anything can happen.

The only reason I'd sell a forum is if I had no interest in it anymore and got no enjoyment from it.

It went down in about a week. We all got together, and moved, then the host took it down. You can still see a little of it in the wayback machine.

Yesterday, my mind frame was actually considering selling my site, and forum. But when I woke up this morning, I decided that was a stupid thought. Not sure what I was thinking yesterday.

if i got 1000s from a forum i'd show my family thats why i use alot of time on the computer
