There are many theories that support the possibility of allien beings existing in another planet, maybe another galaxy. Of course the fact that they are theories doesn't make them falacy it only means we need more facts to substantiate the theory. And there are some allien theorist that believe that allien beings have visited the earth before. Now let assume they are right and on this beautiful day an allien contacted you. You happen to be the first person they contacted what will be your next line of actions. What will you do next ?

Well if you have any contact with a alien I can guarantee that you won't live to tell about it.
That is a good one and that's why aliens are still mystery to us.
You don't know that so you can't be sure of that. I know in many of the mainstream the way the represent alien is that they are bad, parasitic and out to annihilate humans. Maybe those are wrong and the aliens are friendly they just need humans help. What about that?

You don't know if they would be peaceful, but you can Google any videos from famous scientists that all say the same words that it will be like what happen to the native Americans if aliens came to this planet.
Reality is harsh, sorry that I pushed on the reality button too hard for you.
For aliens to reach our planet, I believe that they are more intelligent than us. With that basis, my first action is to show them that I am sincere in welcoming them and that I am not a violent creature. I just hope that they will not harm me... or eat me.

What would make you think they could even understand you to have any meaningful form of contact if they were to even exist in the first place?
I'd have to size them up first. Can they attune themselves to speak our language so I could understand what they are/were saying? Are they here to learn, visit, or conquer? If everything checked out - I'd probably offer up a list of questions about time and space that I'd want answered.
All you'd have to do is ask the person next to you, "hey... are you seeing this too?"
Oh, that would ruin the scene.
