I know some people who never want to share their face online and I don't understand the fear of that. How does it hurt them?

Years ago, I posted a picture of myself on a forum. A woman nicked my picture and started using it pretending it was her. She posted my picture not only on regular forums but on dating and adult websites.

A friend of mine saw it on a forum and showed me. I had to then hire an attorney not only to request the sites remove my picture but also to send her a cease and desist order. That whole process cost me almost $1,000.

That's how it hurt me and I will never do it again.

I have no bothers over it personally. Once its on facebook and such sites your face is online. I can understand why some people wouldn't want it, as now you're open to the world.

That's sad you went through that.

There are many people who look exactly like me...everywhere I go someone calls me by someone else's name and let's me know I have another twin out there. So it's crazy but even if someone used my photo they'd probably think it was Wendy the pharmacist or the stripper in New York (yeah, my husband's friends saw that one) and not me 😀

I guess you can sell without your picture - but they say that those with one, sell significantly more. So that's why I posted mine on https://www.patreon.com/thedrumlesson But I want a different picture and bigger.
