Hardest craft item you've made so far?
Astronauts!
Hmm...the hardest one probably would have been my daughter's stocking I crocheted for her when she was first born. It's a Santa head and all the little curls of his beard were a nightmare.

Is your real name really "katrina" ?
No, it's just a nickname that my mom gave me. She gave me a hundred of them, and when she passed away, I tried to remember all the ones she used so I could write them down so I wouldn't forget any. I don't use my legal name, just nicknames.

What made you make your own forum?
The only forum I own is Crafter Craze. The other forum I run is Christianity Haven and someone else owns it, but I call it mine because I requested it be made. I needed a home forum at that time. As for Crafter Craze, I love doing crafts and didn't see too many craft forums out there.

Most of the members were friends of mine from another Christian forum. That's not to say it was easy getting them to keep returning to the site.

That's awesome. One person on the road has harder work. But when you are with friends, things just go in a proper direction. ^^

It was a dial up community that the local newspaper was beta testing. I was one of 200 people selected to test the system and build up the community.
As for later on, there was a Christian forum I visited and was asked right away to be moderator. It only lasted 6 months or a year, I can't remember.
Oh yes! I grew up dirt poor and when I saw how other people had money, I wanted to be like them. Going to art school with a lot of extra rich people was even worse for me when I got into my late teens. Now, I'm just happy to be middle class.
Some things were hard to learn, but most of the art stuff comes easy to me. Doing lettering though, I'm completely awful at it so I can say that I still haven't learned it 😀

What brings you most joy in life?
My daughter. She's going to be 30 this year and lives a little over an hour away, but I don't get to see her too often because she has a busy life in the city.
It would be an iced coffee LOL I don't drink alcohol except maybe once a year when friends pressure me.
