Hmm...right now what would be ideal would be for my daughter and her bulldog to go on vacation with us. Maybe near a lake or a waterfall and we could just hang out.
I grew up in a suburb about 45 minutes from Chicago. My house was the poorest one on the block but there were kids all over the neighborhood, so we always had someone to play with. We walked to the library in our small downtown and then would go get pizza afterward, playing songs on the jukebox and splitting pizza bread 4 ways. The town changed as I grew up and no way would I want to live there again since it's too big and too much crime...and pollution from the steel mills.
I'm a homemaker, so I kinda sorta have every day off? But then again, I'm a busy person so in a way I don't have too many days off. On my birthday, I did take it easy and spent the day relaxing, watching tv and Netflix and playing games on my phone 😀
I used to be terrified of that movie when I was little!! It took me a long time to actually appreciate it for the work of art that it is. Plus I do love Judy Garland's singing voice.
The original is always going to be the best!! Then I like the Jim Carey version next and last the other cartoon one...I really can't stand that last one at all.
I actually had a friend who did that and the first time it happened, I laughed thinking she was doing it to be silly! I couldn't watch her eat after that because it was just ridiculous.
