Ignore Feature

I do; but it stinks being admin and not being able to use it sometimes. :lol:

I think the ignore feature is something that comes in handy for members, and staff that the ignore feature works on. I think all online communities should have some kind of block or ignore feature, sometimes there's just certain members that you don't want to message you. 😛

For instance I had a member that loved PM advertising, and we actually allowed it which probably wasn't the best idea, however I know many people ignored him as he would send these messages asking them to join a forum or asking personal details all the time. In those situations usually staff get involved but ignoring them works too.

I think the ignore feature works pretty good on a majority of forums. I tend to ignore a lot of members especially people who message me sometimes. I don't bother shooting them a message back.

Yes, it exists. I think many members have already taken advantage of this feature because not everyone can get along with one another, although, I wish they would. 😛

It's very useful and can prevent confrontation, but you still may come across an argument or two. I even tell the members to use the feature straight up, when it's required.
