Hello everyone,

I am Adstart from West Africa and it's nice to meet y'all.

Found this community while searching on Google for an Internet marketing community to meet website buyers and sellers. I sold my first domain brownies.io in 2016, two days after hand registering it for 3X the registration amount. Ever since then, I fell in love with domaining and I've sold several other domain names over the years, I've also built a couple interesting projects with some domains I own. This is a brief introduction about myself, feel free to reach out to me for a chat anytime.

I think this is an interesting community to be a member of and I can't wait to meet some awesome people around here.

Hey Cam, thanks for your kind response. Domaining is indeed fun, and can get really addicting too haha. I have about 261 domain names currently in my portfolio, most of which are brandable .com which I hand regged.
 
Jezus 261 domains. Wouldn't want to pay for all the renewals. lol.

But as long as it's profitable and fun for you, that is all that matters.

Haha renewals can be a pain in the arse when the payments are due, but 1 lucky BIG sale a year can cover the cost for everything. I'm usually lucky to stay profitable after all. Thanks for your response 👍

Very true. It would however make me anxious knowing it depends on one lucky big sale, lol. Glad it's working out for you. 🙂
Of all domains, how much are in use for your own projects? And do you list your sales somewhere or use a marketplace like Godaddy's?
 
@Cedric Anxiety comes with speculating ig, it's what I have signed up for 🙂. I own a few content blogs and 2 ecom stores, a total of 6 live websites. My domains are listed on Dan, few on Squadhelp, and Sav. I try to avoid Godaddy, they own Dan too but I plan on moving my domains from Dan to SH soonest. Godaddy fees are too high and lately they've been having issues.
 
Welcome @Adstart I own a few good domain names myself. I also enjoy searching/buying domains that worth more than what I paid for.
