Hi,

I've just joined and now I'm an Apple Developer for Safari! 🙂 I plan on having my first Safari extension developed soon (starting to create it, not fully release) so watch out! 🙂

Do you have to pay $99 a year to be Safari Developer or is that only for iOS Developers?

You can join for free to make apps for all there prouducts, however you can't locally or commercially build them(create) unless you pay the $99 per year.

Austin is right. You have to pay for developing apps for iOS and releasing them but for Safari extensions you can join and make them for free.
