Your really pushing him to sign up, huh? How can we be sure you wont shut down your host like you did with host jiffy? You told me you had big plans with HJ until you shut it down a couple months later.

I remember you know Travis, you used to own HJ, you sure you have 'Time' and 'Money' to run your new site.

I remember I was looking at all the hosts around here when I worked for ExcelledHosting. I remember HostJiffy competing with EH. Jiffy went down for days and then they reset everything...went down, and came back and then said they were shutting down and then selling the domain?

How do we really know you will be up for some time? Also..I just wanted to ask some questions. Your site says 24/7 support:

It really depends how PHP is configured. I would just do it server wide by:

1. Uploading the correct .so file to the directory that is set as the "extension_dir" (you can find in the php configuration editor)
2. In php configuration editor look for "extension" and add JUST the FULL name of the file, no directory just the file name with the extension.
3. Restart apache.
4. Done.

HostJiffy was a playground for me, now I have funding to do what I want online, Get forum licences, Buy premium hosting, Dedicated Servers, Vps's Ect.

The 24/7 support is via our support ticket system just like it says on the site, if you did submit a ticket you would have gotten a reply, we are still working on that live chat and it should have said that we were offline then, I am very sorry for that problem and we will work our hardest to fix it. We are planning on moving to another paid support software in the coming month.

HostJiffy was hosted by a completely crappy reseller http://www.jixhost.com
We would never use them ever and I would completely tell anyone opening a host DO NOT use JixHost whatever you do. We lost data/uptime and good reputation.

HostLadder is on a completely different server backend and we are now going through highly powered datacenters with 24/7 staff. Yesterday if you saw it we were down for around 5 minutes, the staff have resolved the issue and we are back online it was due to a emergency router problem and the router has been replaced.

I would never "sell" hosting just to let it die, I never plan on shutting down this host and I hope that you all understand that, This is my way of saying sorry about HostJiffy and all of the problems that it has caused this community, HostLadder is here to stay and if you were a hostjiffy user I will give you a discount if you just PM me, again I am sorry for what has happened in the past.

The things on our site that will be fixed is a better client area design. Better live chat. More live chat representatives.

I hope that you take this into consideration thanks again.

That's why you kept telling me how you're going to go far with this and stay dedicated and all when I was Head Mod of the forums?

Also, wouldn't this make ALL hosting providers and paid forum softwares 24/7 support as they all have support tickets that you can request? By saying you are providing 24/7 support, you're saying that when someone requests a support ticket, they'll get an instant reply. 24/7 support usually refers to support that you would be able to get instantly without having to wait a certain amount of time before getting a reply.

Within 1 hour at most you will have a reply. Yes, so we are 24/7 ticket support. I am not the only worker back there 😛

I was young then, Was hoping that I could go far, Sadly the host didnt let me and neither did my funds.

So your saying you have someone monitoring the support ticket system 24/7? Then why can't you reply in the live chat?
 
We keep live chat and support tickets counted as different departments.
I would say in a week or 2 we will have 24/7 live chat.
