I'm new here, I was curious on how this community works? I was interested in getting some posting packages but saw it requires something called FP$? How do I obtain this currency?

As @Maul mentioned, sometimes people do sell their FP$, but the fastest way to earn outside of that is to simply post and you will gain FP$ every time you do 🙂

• FP$ (FP Cash)
  
  • is used as a type of currency on the site for various things. Members earn FP$ mainly by posting on forum promotion but can also earn it by doing tasks for other members such as registering on their forums or posting for an agreed upon amount. FP$ is how you pay for the forum services that are available: Posting Packages, Reviews and Social Promotion Services.

• Posting Packages
  
  • are ways to get more posts/threads (topics) on your forum or comments on your blog. There are different packages to choose from and each have requirements that must be followed before the request is approved. Payment is made using FP$ as explained above. See the Guidelines for details.

• Reviews
  
  • are used when you need a strong critique on your site or various areas of your site. Payment is made using FP$ as explained above. See the Guidelines for details.

• Social Promotion Services
  
  • is a way to get your site visible to the thousands of followers on Forum Promotions social media. You can choose which social media platform you'd like or buy a bundle. Payment is made using FP$ as explained above. See the Guidelines for details.

• The Forum Redirect Auction
  
  • is won by bidding using the FP$ you have in your account when an auction is open. Check in the Auction House to see if there is a current auction running.

• The Community Spotlight
  
  • cannot be earned and the site is selected by the Community Team.

• The next Community Spotlight shows 3 sites (with their images) whose members won Community of the Month through voting by other FP members.
  • 
  • Check in the News Center for when sites are submitted and voted on. Submissions are generally accepted from the 1st through the 15th of the month and then voted on from the 16th until the end of the month. You cannot vote for your own site and the winner is chosen by the most votes received from other members of Forum Promotion. Rules are posted in the threads each month.

• Website Battles
  
  • are used to get members to look at your site. A battle can be between two or three sites and members vote for the winner. Each win earns 10 FP$
  • a badge is placed on your account
    
  • as well as a spot on the Leaderboard

  • is a forum where you can post the major milestones for your site. See the Guidelines for details.

• Exchange Central
  
  • is where you can do transactions with other members to buy posts using FP$ (threads/topics) for your site or to exchange posts with other sites. There are Guidelines posted in each section.

• The Marketplace

  • is where you can purchase various things using real cash. There are Guidelines posted in each section.

Information The Garnet is free for Members who have been registered for less than one month. The only requirement is your forum needs 100 posts. That's so Packagers have something to respond to. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me 🙂
