ImageShack Problems

Has anybody have any problems with ImageShack lately? It seems for the past month imageshack is having problems with images stored in their database. When I go to forums where it's hosted, I get a generic hotlink protection message sometimes, and the actual image other times.

Yeah. I have been seeing that too. It really sucks if you use IF and the images are your post icons... :lol:

It's getting really hard to find a reliable image host.

I've never used ImageShack or Photobucket. I've always had my own server for it. For some people I give them a couple gig's space on it to save them from the horrors of places like that..

Photobucket I have not seen problems with. Freeforums has added something in relation to images, in affiliation with divioncore.

Image shack gave alot of people on a forum I visit alot of problems and they couldn't post photos for like two weeks. That's why I use photobucket.

I prefer photobucket myself, though tinypic is good.

I used imageshack for a shortwhile and when they were working they were great but quite often it would be really slow.

I use either http://servimg.com or http://hotlinkfiles.com . Both are good, fast and have had no downtime whatsoever.
