Imgur changed the way they provide a link of their images this year and even when I try to put a .png or .jpg at the end of the link, I can't upload the image on forums anymore.

Any ideas of what I need to do?

Here's the image link I get...after posting this I see I don't need to "upload" it as a pic, I can just drop the link. Interesting.

I don't currently use imgur, but if you can simply post the link and it appears, I may change my screenshot settings to auto upload and copy an imgur link (using ShareX). Thanks for giving me the notice haha.

Edit: It does seem to be working, so that can make saving space much easier for when I upload screenshots to XF forums. Nice!

Their initial change was that I had to go back to my Images in order to get the link, instead of it being provided as soon as I uploaded the new image. It was like a step backwards in how they did things.

Ah ok. Well, with sharex I can just hit printscreen, wait a couple seconds, and its uploaded to my imgur ACC so I can delete it later if I wanted.

@Katrina I don't really get the point of Imgur. My server has 4TB space and gifs, jpgs, etc, hardly take any of it, so I let my members upload all they want. Is this not the case with you?

When I owned Crafter Craze, I didn't want to use up the limited space my hosting allowed me, so imgur was the way to go.

Ah.....yes I get it. I used to have an "unlimited" shared account so that was never an issue for me.

I just use ImgBB when I upload some images. Others I upload them directly to my website. I stopped using Imgur years ago when they changed their policies about hot linking images on forums.
