Technically my forum is created because of another larger one. However my goal is NOT to make a shadow site. The reason we made KK (My forum) is because the admin on the other site ruled with a nazi like attitude.
Our categories are as different as I can make them while staying in the same category. Our rules are way different. And well.. I don't have control issues. 😀

Ta-Da! Finished! Just add it to the bottom of the Portal_Body.tpl section of your forum. I wouldn't recommend putting it on your forum because it takes up a LOT of space, but you can if you wish (PS you can change the Every time someone right clicks... \n a puppy dies.... part to whatever you want, just keep the \n, because in Javascript, it is a line break)

Wow, there is not much worse then putting your heart and soul into creating a great forum and then having somebody come along and start "snagging" it (content wise, etc) right out from under you. That's just so wrong, and, honestly....seriously immature and selfish.
This person who is swiping "your" ideas and hardwork should be downright ashamed of themselves. It's one thing to come up with your own ideas by doing "research" on other forums and then RE-CREATING them (to make them your "own" ideas) but, God, to actually just "take" what doesn't belong to you is wrong, wrong, wrong.
I hope that this "thief" gets exposed for their ignorance; let's see how well his forum does then.

He had sent over his new "gf" to join the site and she put down another one of our users (who happened to be on his site too) as a referrer so both were suspended on suspicious grounds -- the referee hadn't posted in 6wks yet checked on it DAILY. Hrmm.. you have time to check it EVERY day yet no time to post? The girl that was already on our site has already emailed the Admin who handled it all asking to be let back in and promised to behave and post.

Well actually, I checked his site out yesterday and it's been down for 2 days now.. server can't be found 😀 *dances* He even tried contacting me on myspace with his phone number and asked him to call him since we hadn't talked since the "argument"!

LOL, it sounds like someone needs to get his head examined.
It really amazes me how some people will do "whatever it takes" to get what they want. By all means, often that kind of drive and passion can be a great thing but when one has to resort to sneaky, selfish and underhanded tactics to get what they want, especially if done at someone else's expense, that's just going to far.
Actually, it sounds (to me) like he's desperate to reconnect with you simply for the sole-purpose of benefitting himself.
Hah, it almost makes me wonder if you should pity the guy or thank him.
After all, if he's willing to go to such great lengths to steal your forum from you.....

The reason he says he was "borrowing" my category/forum/threads was because I had a thriving forum and have for the last few years and knew what I was doing and had a formula that worked for me - he figured it would work for him!T-Babe said:
