Increasing activity and traffic during the Weekend?

I notice during the weekend some forums just feel inactive or have very few posts compared to the Weekdays. Is there a way to increase traffic on the weekend. I only read posting on the weekend and using social media and bookmarking on the weekend will increase your traffic. Plus, posting comments on blogs or forums which post on weekends.

I notice most of my website get a minor drop in traffic during the weekend and goes up again during the weekday according to Google Analytics line graph for traffic.
