Now, this one is a curious one because I am actually indecisive lol

However, I try not to let that adversely affect users and try to keep some semblance of stability for the large part with the occasional big drive and even then, you're not going to see anything too wild.

Indecisiveness isn't really anything new either in admins, I've seen it before in 2009 where an owner of a site just couldn't make their mind up about what they wanted. One moment, they would have one domain, another moment they'd have another, they would also stash away the backup and not restore it with the intention of doing it later, only to lose all the data anyway as they forgot about it.

They would hop from one platform to another to another. One moment, they would be running vB (a vB license is like $200, not some nulled garbage, that is NOT cheap), another moment they might be running some custom system, another moment they'd be running Proboards, yadayada.

All that it would take is a swing in their mood and temperament. Nothing new at all, but it still drives me up the wall. The only thing worse that picking an awful software is changing it for something every week or even every month like a pair of old clothes.

I know some that are guilty of doing this and, people have the right to not join forums run by someone that does such a thing. If such "admin" does this, then he/she shouldn't really be admin in the first place.

I used to keep changing my mind about things when I was running forums. No where near as much as you've said because trying to merge software was a pain in the butt but I still did a few things here and there on the forums and people got a bit pissed off 😛

I honestly was like that, sort of. I started off with phpBB then decided I wanted vB but couldn't afford it so I went to MyBB. Stayed with MyBB after that, never switched.
I would never change domains but I would "revamp" my forum or site a lot trying to see what worked best.

I'm not bothered by moving around too much - if someone else is doing it. However, me doing it is a big thing and not something I'd want to do constantly. Anyway, sometimes it's still difficult - like when I was trying to merge two XF 2 forums, but errors came up about reading the directory that I still haven't solved.

You probably want to talk to their support people about that problem.
