Lately I've been looking for a new job, so I've been filling out a few applications on Indeed. It's also lead to a few spammers contacting me, and these aren't the same as the spam calls I've been getting lately. Early yesterday morning I got a phone call from a number that was masked as coming from Texas, but at midnight. I looked the number up and many people reported it as a fake scam caller that calls people from Indeed. Today I got a text from a number claiming that they had a opening at a bakery. When I looked the number up, it's been reported to be used as a romance scam and popped up on an adult website too. I blocked and reported the number. I'm thankful that I do have a job at the moment, but I can't help but to get upset at these scammers because there's people out there who are unemployed and are desperate for a job but then they get this shady numbers contacting them. Anyone could have replied to that text if they are desperate enough.

Never heard of this before. I thought the airport dishwashing job I have now, which pays $20 an hour, was a scam at first, but turned out to be legit. I guess I thought this because the recruiter called from another state.
