I'm wanting to explore potentially selling IndexForum.com. I purchased this forum from @Jordan back in April, but haven't done a whole lot with the forum since then. The forum was originally created by @Dfarmer2001 under the "Referral Index Forum" name, but was shortened to the "Index Forum" title when Jordan acquired the IndexForum.com domain about a year ago. With that in mind, both domains (IndexForum.com and ReferralIndexForum.com) would be included in the sale.
If you didn't know, Index Forum is a paid posting forum that primarily emphasizes investment/finance/business discussions. At the moment, members are able to earn up to $0.10 a day through posting on the forum. They earn $0.01 per post (replies only) on up to ten posts. Users are able to cash out their earnings on the 1st and the 16th each month, with the minimum withdrawal being offered at $5.00. I currently offer this through PayPal, Amazon gift cards, and LTC, with LTC being the payment method that is used at least 90% of the time.
Stats on the forum currently sit at 365,299 posts, 20,003 threads, and 708 members. It shows we have 40 users that have been online in the last 48 hours, though I'd imagine there's a few spam accounts in there that I haven't used the anti-spam tool on just yet. The IndexForum.com domain has history on Archive.org dating back to 2007, though WHOIS Lookup currently states it's only been registered since 2014. I transferred it to another domain registrar over the summer and extended it for another year, so the domain is currently set to expire in June 2026.
Assume revenue is at $0.00. I have sold a few advertisements in both the header and the footer since becoming the owner, but nothing involving the forum has been monetized beyond that.
