.info domain?

Do you think it'll increase the traffic on my forum?

It will.. but god question people! I know we all don't have money but do you really not have a whole $3 more to purchase a .com or .net?

Let me put it this way - i don't EVER use a .info address unless it is someone on here's exchange. Like, it is cheaper, but remember you do get what you pay for. Cough up the extra few dollars and it's yours for the year! If you can't make $10 (at most) for a .com/.net than start mowing some neighbors yards.

I don't have a paypal account/credit card therefore I can't purchase one myself. My parents won't let me spend money on the internet until I'm 18. Also, Agent is buying me the domain so I don't think he can afford to get me a .com/.net domain from godaddy.

No, why would it do that?
It might be better for returning visitors as they can probably remember your url.

Anyways .info's are better than .fi.st but I'd recommend a .com or a .net

I agree with all else. Easier to remember. It MIGHT increase activity, as it is easier to remember.

It's called buying a disposable credit card. In the UK, Ireland and Germany you have the 3v cards. I think in the US there is an equivalent. You can also use them with PayPal.

That is what I was going to mention. There are easy to obtain pre-paid "debit cards." Go to Walgreens or any store really and buy one. They might cost you roughly $20+ and some have activation fees. Read them to see what you are really getting. Though, that way you can use them like real Credit/Debit cards.

As the majority have said, I would go with the .info, however going with a .com would be the best option.
