Install phpBB on WordPress Deluxe Hosting Plan

Hello everyone!

I have recently been trying to install phpBB on my WordPress Deluxe hosting plan at GoDaddy. When I filled in the database details from my hosting plan, I kept getting errors.

I'm afraid my hosting plan doesn't allow me to install any software besides WordPress. Could anyone confirm that for me? If that's not the case, what could I be doing wrong? If that's the case, are there any alternative ways to install phpBB without purchasing a new hosting plan?

I have already bought a premium theme for phpBB.

The hosting plan is also quite expensive. Changing my plan would simply be a waste of money (if it wasn't already...).

Yes, It is only for wordpress. Contact GoDaddy support and say you would like a plan switch because you didn't know you could not install phpBB on that one.

I'm not quite convinced they'll allow me to switch plan without refunding the costs/taking extra costs into account. I'll try though. I also really dislike the fact that they don't have a live chat like Namecheap...
