How do you mean?

As in, install forum software on the server? If so yes, that's the only way I'd do it. having access to the file system gives you so much customisation. ~smile~

Oh, I misread the topic title ~redface~

Looks like a pretty decent program - very similar to Fantastico. Haven't seen it before, but I would be interested in hearing some feedback from users who have ~smile~

I haven't heard of it before either.... It has alot of scripts available that Fantastico doesn't offer.

Its free to use on zendfree or other types of hosts, the host I am using (Can be found in my link if you take away my server url.) offers both Fantastico and Installatron.

Never heard of it, but I wouldnt use it anyway. Its easier for me to just install everything myself, I like to be in full control even during the install -razz-

Automatic installers are good if you want to quickly test out a script or see what it is like.

True, true. Most of the time the scripts homepage offers live demos though.

No, I dont use installatron... I use fantastico.
