Installing last.fm Scrobbler on Linux

It has been two weeks since I made a topic on the last.fm forum, and not a single response.

Can someone help me get the last.fm scrobbler to work on the Linux (Ubuntu) Operating System. Wine wont work with it, and the linux download opens and automatically closes.

Are you just wanting to play from your Last.fm or scrobble your local tracks? I'd recommend Songbird or the built in Rhythmbox - both have Last.fm integration.
