Installing Mod

I was installing a mod and I uploaded the install file and tried to access it but it still giving me this "Please delete, move or rename the install directory before you use your board. If this directory is still present, only the Administration Control Panel (ACP) will be accessible." although I haven't installed it yet. How can I fix this?
