Installing Mods - phpBB3

I need help installing some mods, i'm trying to install NV_who_was_here and i want to install the quick reply mod.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Read the install instructions that come with every mod. Then download 2 copies of every file you have to edit. Edit 1 set of these files and the other set will be a backup.

Work through the instructions in the install file carefully then upload all the edited files and do anything else that is required such as running a script or doing a sql query. If the board messes up, just re upload the unedited set of files and start again.

Always backup the files and the database before adding a mod. Also it might be best to install a test forum to test out the mod before touching your main forum. You can mess up the test forum as much as you want. That is a good way to practice and learn how to add mods.

I followed the instructions and installed everything. It appears at the bottom of my forum as:

{ WHO_WAS_HERE }

{ WWH_UPDATE_NEED }

How do i fix this? 🙁

Have you run the installation script that came with the MOD?

Should be located at phpBB3/install/index.php

I've done this twice, i have it installed twice on my forum >.>
