Interactive Buttons?

So I am about to make a banner for my BlogTV and I was wondering, in your graphics, how do you make certain parts buttons?

Like I want it to say "Website" and then when they click that, it goes to my website.

I know it is possible, because I have seen it done.


Any help?

The method you're thinking of is an Image Map -> http://www.lissaexplains.com/fun6.shtml

Personally I'd rather create a Div with a background image and use CSS positioning to make the links within it.

That is my first graphic every made, so don't laugh, or try not to. (I know it will be difficult.)

I want the website button to go to my website, the twitter to go to my twitter, and the youtube to my youtube.

I can provide those links if anyone knows how to proceed.

You just dump all of the code I gave you onto a Web Page. The code I supplied uses HTML / CSS, an Image map uses HTML.

So, if you're looking to use it in a forum sig then unless the forum has HTML enabled then using an image map is pretty much useless.
