This isn’t even to cause a argument

This is just something I don’t see anyone else bringing up lol

Does anyone else find it interesting that trump won twice AGAINST A WOMAN ?

but the one time he faced another man he lost lol

It’s almost like he’s getting voted for just because SOME MEN AND WOMEN won’t ever vote for a woman to be president.

He’s 0-1 against another man lol

But he’s 2-0 against women

🫢

It’s even more proof that both times the democrats choose the wrong candidate

Because sadly this country has proven it will NOT ELECT A WOMAN

And twice they tried to make it happen.

The one time the democrats picked a man they beat trump.

Really interesting how I don’t see anyone else bringing this up lol

It's very possible there is a group of voters who voted for Trump because they didn't want a woman or because she was black. I don't know.

What I do know is that since September, 70% of Americans thought the country was doing poorly. So it shouldn't be a surprise that they don't want to continue down this path of a bad economy, etc..

The biggest issue is they both Suck. The democrats could have won this election had they chose a right candidate and went a correct route instead of throwing Kamalla down our throats. They now have 4 years to find a younger better candidate and honestly both parties need to get together because lets not act like the democrats haven't been trying to come together for the past 12 years. obama was the best this country had whether anyone wants to admit that or not. When he left office it has continue to trail on a downward spiral.

I'm Republican now, but I voted Democrat and voted for Obama back in the day. At one point I was an Independent, so I've been in all roles LOL

But, I do agree that we need to start getting in some younger politicians to run the country. At least Vance is young in case something happens to Trump.

I am a independent i voted for bernie sanders and i align with all his views. i did vote for obama and chose to stay neutral last 2 elections and didnt vote. its time to go younger across the board president senate house all that.

I think a good chunk of Trump supporters certainly don't want a woman in office, that I do agree. I don't think all Trump supporters are like this of course. I do think that played a bit into how this election has gone too. Joe Biden was able to beat him, kind of odd when even most Democrats were against Biden running for president to begin with. I fully supported Bernie Sanders last election, and I had hoped he would have been the one to run against Trump last time but it didn't happen. We need young, non controlling people in the white house. The government should not have control over what a individual can and cannot do with their own bodies period. I'm happy at the outcome of my state's local amendments but that's it. I fear for the future of trans people like myself when we have anti-trans people coming to the white house soon and with a anti-trans supreme court to back them up. We don't need people dictating how others should live their lives, and Project 2025/Agenda 47 do that. I hope to the higher beings these terrible laws do not get passed.

I don't believe it's that the electorate doesn't want to elect a woman as president, I think it's more that they want to elect the right woman and I'm not convinced Kamala Harris was the right women.

I don't think she really had a chance from day one. She was parachuted in late on to represent what seemed like a rather unpopular government in power. She seemed low on policy but worst of all she comes across as a nice person and nice people don't always make strong leaders.

There are so many other better women.

I think if the Democrats had been on the ball, they would have convinced Biden back in January when there was still time to have a primary. I don't know what choices they would have had, but anyone but Harris would have been better...and it's not because she's a woman or black. She can't communicate effectively on the spot, she's weak, she isn't confident and no one would want to have another country threaten us and try to rely on her for safety. Trump doesn't let people push us around.

The Democratic Party put themselves in a corner when Biden selected Kamala as his VP in 2020. Maybe Biden doesn't win without her on the ticket, but I'm not sure how much she really helped him. When it became clear that Biden wasn't going to be able to run, they were stuck. If they would have skipped over the VP and selected someone else, it would have clearly looked sexist/racist, even though she was just as unpopular as Biden. But hey, if they would have had a real primary process, maybe the best candidate would have risen through the debates.

They have 4 years to figure it out now and get a younger better candidate.

They've got some people I'd love to see run. Seems like Newsom is talked about as the next man up more than anyone else, but I would lean away from pulling another candidate from California. I'd love to see Mayor Pete or Josh Shapiro get a real shot at it. Both younger guys, and if Shapiro is still Governor of PA then, it'll be hard not to go with the Governor of what was considered the most valuable swing state this election season.

I am a Bernie Bro so i think we should go towards the line of young Progressive.

I sincerely hope they don't make that mistake again. You lean too far to the left, and you lose the election.

Lol how they cheated when he ran? he was winning in every single poll. he would of beaten trump. We need to go that route the route we are on is obviously not working.

I can appreciate Bernie's appeal, but he wouldn't obtain 72+ million votes to win an election. It's moot at this point either way, he's 83 years old, nor is there another Bernie in the waiting. Unless you like AOC?

Newsom won't win. His state is in shambles and if you look at the results of this election, parts of it are turning red. People are waking up to what's happening and seeing that they want something better and for their lives to prosper again.

AOC won't win either. Not unless she turns off her rhetoric. She's said too many horrible things about Republicans that's hard to take back. The American people are sick of the constant name calling by politicians (of any side) and the media. It just needs to stop and get back to bashing policies.

It all depends on the state of the country. If things suck in four years, it'll be the same thing we dealt with this election season. The status quo vs. change. People will take the change option if we're back to 70% of Americans thinking the country is doing poorly.

The Democratic Party will never lean far enough her way for her to be able to run on their ticket. If anything, I could see her running with a third party someday.
