Internal Server Error only when trying to post

I had problems with one MOD but I unistalled and used backup files from automod.
I'm going to try to find any missing files (which will take forever...)

I can view topics without an error.
Did you change anything just before the error happened? If not then contact your host. If you did alter anything just before the error started then reverse what you did. Some times if you edit the htaccess file and mess up it can throw up a 500 error for example so it may be down to something you did or a problem on your hosts side.

I think it is a mod you have installed that is causing it.

Download a clean version of phpBB3. Take out viewtopic.php, redo any edits for mods to that file carefully and upload it and then see if that solves it. If not then we can try something else.

Did you clear the cache directory (except the index.htm file and the .htaccess file)?
If not then you might need to overwrite all the files (except config.php) with clean files unless you have a backup or you know what mod you installed just before the errors started?
Make a backup of the current files and the db though before just incase.

Tried to post with prosilver style, gives an error.
I took a lot of include files and other php files from phpBB fresh install - still nothing.
Going to try to move more files. Folder by folder so I can track where is the problem.

Can you please post your viewtopic.php & posting.php files here so I can have a look at them for you. Be careful when you replace files with a fresh install, if you have mods installed make sure you do those edits that are required by the mods to the new files otherwise the mod(s) won't work and it might even make your board worse.
Why you need to look at them, just download fresh phpBB and see them yourself. They are exactly the same...(I tried with fresh files and still gives the same error)...

Because your old files might contain code which has caused the error. But since you don't want any help then forget it, have fun restarting your forum, and I don't know why you made this topic in the first place..
