Have you compared it to any other browser? I can see a noticeable difference between IE8 and FF 3.5.

It is one thing opening the pages but it is another thing loading the pages to display correctly and not exposing you and making you more likely to get attacked 😉

I use Avant Browser which is bassed on IE like how Chrome uses the Webkit browser to build their browser.

I been pleased with Avant. It is easy to use and comes with a lot of skins and customizations.

I've been using Avant as a 2ndary browser for a while now..it's not that bad.

They display completely correctly for me and as they are all guarded by full AVG protection I have no worries there.

Wrong Avast is just a modded Ie. Google Chrome uses webkit as their engine..

if it's about speed;
the browser u use the most, stores cookies/cache so it may seem that it is the quickest (even if the browser is IE)..
the speed of your net has got NOTHING to do with the browser u'r using
atleast thats how I think it is...
I remember once using IE... but I'm a Mac user now and Safari is the best way to go...

I don't "hate" IE, its just that its a pain for coders... especially when it comes to CSS >.<
besides IE isn't compatible with some CSS3 scripts... which is a definite minus... 😉

I looked at all the compatibility rates and Google Chrome is just like IE regarding CSS while FF does everything "Excellent."

So yeah. I use FF.
