Do you use Internet Slang often? Do you think it will lower your.. position if you use Internet Slang online? I think that using Internet Slang is alright. But I use in a more ''high-class'' way. For example, lol. I will write down LoL instead. I dislike Internet Slang which contain bad words or disgusting words. I dont even want to list down those Internet Slang here. I hate it! What about you?

Will it bring you more member to your forum if you, as the administrator use Internet Slang? Or will is bring you less people?

I think in official posts it's unacceptable to use internet slang. However, when making fun threads or replying to posts, I use them all of the time, haha

Yeah me too. Impotent thread that will be seen by many people should not contain any Internet Slang.

I feel that when making important posts or sending out newsletters that you should always use proper grammar and punctuation. I think small things like that help people know that you are serious. 🙂

I don't really use internet slang unless I'm on a skype chat with Will , Exel and boys.

I use LoL a lot... and LMAO or ROTFLMAO, but I try not to incorporate those things into my posts too much. 😛

I use lol, brb, rofl, and other internet slang on forums, chat rooms, and Skype, or other text chat programs.

Although, I would rarely use internet slang in e-mail, newsletters, blog and forum posts about topics like tech, politics, debate, and current events.

I rarely see lol spelled as LoL unless someone is posting about "League of Legends" which is a popular free to play online multiplayer fighring game.

I'd only really use light slang amongst friends, like others have said with "lol" "lmao" etc.
Other than that I just find slang stupid in other forms, most annoyingly is when people use it in an argument or discussion. Just makes that person seem like they don't know what they are talking about!

Internet Slang comprises of slang and acronyms that clients have made as a push to spare keystrokes.

I don't really like to use internet slang online. Unless its something non-serious, then i just go all out, cuz. lol

I don't use internet slang on forums but I do when speaking to friends.

I use "Lol" and "lmao" so much. 😛 I can never use LoL however, the last L is just so annoying, my OCD freaks out when I see it. 😛

Anyway, in important threads I would not use slang, however everywhere else I use use. I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to grammar, however. "Lol" and "lmao" are about the only "slang terms" I use, I spell everything else out. 😛

When I'm joking around/having a laugh with someone I do, but only words like lol, srs and omg. xD

it can make things more silly and funnier. 😛

No I will not use slang into my post. You can use with your comment, chat, but posts are no.

In important threads and/or posts, I don't use internet slang. Though, everywhere else, you will likely find me using lol, lmao, lmfao, rofl, roflmao, etc. I mean, who wants to write laugh out loud, laughing my A off, rolling on floor laughing, rolling on floor laughing my A of, etc. 🙂
