Interview Weekly Peer Review

Here is my suggestions:

1. The Blog

Blog has a nice simplistic yet clean design which is good, the one thing I would suggest is follow the theme of your blog "Interview Weekly" should represent every week having a new blog about an interview you had with someone. Last post I see is Jun 7th which was like 3-4 weeks ago. So try to stay on schedule if you want people to come back to keep on reading your articles.

2. Blog Content

While I see you have lots of comments for a start up blog which is good your content is not really unique. You ask the same questions that other blogs have done so with the same people so there is really no originality in your content. I would suggest finding someone new to interview and who is more famous who has made thousands of his current website and not saying that ads are there to pay for hosting since he is making so little off them but saying ads are his income, he is sitting home all day doesn't work, just making money off his website. You want to inspire the readers that this is guy is the best and inspire the people reading the article so the readers would say "o yea I will create something like that where I will be making money and dont have to work!!".

One another thing that I see you do, is ask simplistic questions that dont interest anyone, you should keep the brief info about your self question but most of the others you have to let go. You as a journalist have to ask questions that will spark the attention of the readers. When you read the news in the morning paper, you dont see journalists asking those bland questions they ask controversial questions. So you should ask questions like "There are millions of arcade websites out there how do you differentiate amongst them? or " Even though your name means big things you website receives very little traffic how do you explain that?" and etc..

Same thing goes for the title of the articles you write in the newspaper do journalists write "Interview with Barack Obama" or do they write "Words from our leader the first African American President". The title sparks the article and makes you want to read it. Your titles are too straight forward and again their bland. Look at yahoo.com their title is not the main point of the story. Lets say they are making an interview with Barack Obama and in an interview he says he is gay, the article title wouldn't be Interview with Barack Obama" it would be "Barack Obama admitted to be gay". Thats how you should think as a journalist.

I think that's about it, hope it helps.

If writing is your passion then you should succeed with it. Good Luck!

Thanks a ton for your review and I had some interruptions in my life that didn't allow me to continue the site until now so starting this week things will be back on track and I will be considering everything you have said here.

Thanks a ton!

I got one 🙂 Interview me 😀

I would love to be interviewed!

Okay Mr. Breezy however their is a waiting list forming it seems which is good for me 😉 it is fairly short but I could do your interview the week after next 🙂

If you would like to be interviewed please shoot me a e-mail at [email protected]

I'm looking for some more peer reviews at the moment if anyone else would care to voice their thoughts.

Well it's not down anymore so if anyone wants to give reviews it'd be appreciated 🙂

I don't like that big contact button on the side of the blog, it is very distracting and I don't like the white background, I thought that it was very hard to read the writing because of it, maybe make the writing darker. Good and interesting posts, keep up the good work, 😀

Thanks Lorcan, I have relocated the button hopefully in a spot less annoying, if not I'll remove it and just make a page for it. 🙂

Anyone else?
