Hello all,

I am a new member here at Forum Promotions. You will quickly realize that I am Reverie's best friend and roommate. A little about me. I am a middle school teacher. I teach math because it makes way more sense to my brain than science, and it comes way easier to me than writing and comprehending the things I would need to be able to do to teach ELA. I, for the most part, do not have much of an interesting life. I work, I eat food, sometimes catch a movie or a show on TV, and then spend the rest of the time sleeping.

I'll try to post when I am not doing any of those other things I mentioned.

-Mr. Random and Odd

Herro Mr. Random and Odd. :3 Thank you for joining!

I'm still astonished the way your brain works. ๐Ÿ˜›

Roommate? Does it mean you two are currently staying together?

It's funny how math works for some people (like you), but not for others (like me, who works in science). I guess that's the beauty of life. ๐Ÿ˜› What kind of movies do you like to watch?

Oh, and welcome to FP. ๐Ÿ˜‰

You mad'am are not welcome. Because you are a bully. (whoops, just kidding...again). Hehe. And yes, I am sometimes also astonished in the way that my brain works. That is why I constantly call it my "crazy brain" to explain my thinking and the things that I do to others who do not know me well... ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

Oh yes, we are currently staying together. Not in the same room, of course. We have been living with each other for almost an entire year now. My how time flies.

And yes, I think it is super funny. Most people don't understand why I can't understand science. It seems that math is just more concrete for me. Now, get me into the mathematical portion of science and I can float better when it comes to using formulas. But ask me to explain the difference between a metal, metalloid or a non-metal like my students have to do and I'm totally lost.

Anyway, I mostly enjoy horror movies. They make me laugh instead of scaring me, and it's fun to scare the people who are watching them with me. I also enjoy comedy, action, and thriller movies.

Sounds fun. Reminds me of the time I had a roommate too and all the craziness we did. ๐Ÿ˜› Is it due to work or study?

I think I used to dislike math because there are only patterns and formulas. Biology, in specific, has a flow and logic to it which we can follow with instinct and common sense, and makes it easier to understand. But as you said, to each their own brain. Fascinating in a way, frustrating in another. ๐Ÿ˜€

I definitely will not go to watch a horror movie with you, lol. But that happens when my friends go to watch horror movies in a group. They tend to come out laughing and teasing each other instead of watching.

See... that is exactly why I love math... because of the patterns and formulas! That's just what my crazy brain likes.

Hehe, I am not as terrifying as it might sound. I just sometimes turn and stare at the person when there are intense, slightly scary parts of the movie going on... @Reverie loves it!!! She also loves that I can make myself life by thinking of all of the "scary" things that I can do.

@Migi see what I have to put up with lol. He's so nice and terrifying. ๐Ÿ˜›

Goodness. I am not that terrifying. I just nicely stand in the shadows and stare. :androidthumbsup:

P.S. @Migi I realized I didn't answer your question on why we live together. The answer to that is we both needed to get out of our current living situations, and the only person we could even think of living with to make rent cheaper is each other... heh, and because she lives with me I have also now been able to pull her into my work. Yay for carpooling!

Isn't this exactly what terrifying means... @Reverie you must have suffered a lot. ๐Ÿ™

I see! Marriage with advantage! In a sense. You know. ๐Ÿ˜› The roommate I mentioned above and I were also considering the same thing if we want to continue our study at the capital. But yes, with the way our wallets are so tight now, this kind of deal is very helpful. It's also nice to have someone to talk to when you get home after a long day. ๐Ÿ™‚

Guy and girl roommate? Are you heterosexual? ๐Ÿ˜›

Anyway; welcome to the forum!

Though I am science student too, I am also at a loss to explain the difference between metal, metalloid and non metal. I know what they are but I cant give too much input on them. And to tell you frankly, I ended up being a doctor because I so much hate maths *smiles sheepishly*

Differences kept aside, welcome to FP! ๐Ÿ˜€
