Hi folks!
Invision has just rolled out a new feature, Quests. And Administrata wouldn't be Administrata if we were one of the first to test out this shiny new feature. It's something that I've looked forward to since it was announced. Luckily, it didn't test my patience for long. Quests lets you set up challenges for your members to complete - like writing a guide, completing a course, reviewing content, or just being consistently active. As they complete tasks, they earn badges, rewards, and sometimes even gift cards (yep, real ones 😄).
I've set up a few Quests to kick things off, and just added a longer-term one where members rack up points just by doing their usual stuff - posting, starting topics, following others, writing blog posts, and so on. Once they hit 3,000 points, they unlock a badge and a reward.
What I really like is that it lets you subtly guide how people engage without being heavy-handed. You can push certain kinds of contributions or encourage habits you want to see more of.
Anyways, feel free to check out: Introducing: (Community) Quests
