Introduction Thread or Introduction Forum?

I do an introductory forum. That's what I see most forums have. I may switch to an introductory post but I like the forum.

I don't want every member to create introductory thread, I want everyone to post on the same thread.

I have individual threads I start if the new member doesn't. I feel it makes it more personal.

I have individual threads same as most forums nowadays that have introductions for members. I mean who hasn't. End of the day It's that person discretion to post

I used to just have a introduction topic on past forums, but lately I've just been adding a introductions section. I feel that it's easier to read introduction topics rather than replies.

Introduction forum is better in my opinion. Everyone can come in and welcome the members individually in their own thread instead of being lost in a sea of other people and replies.
