Dogecoin has zero value. If you're interested in cryptocurrencies it's best to look at Litecoin, Ethereum, and Bitcoin. Hell, I made a lot of money flipping out Dogecoin but it's pure speculative gambling. Anyone who says otherwise is misleading. Just be comfortable losing whatever you're willing to invest; that has to be your mindset.

Does not change my opinion; very speculative and straight up gambling. To each their own, but everyone needs to understand the difference between gambling vs investing. That's all I am saying.

Do you know that how you invest should be determined by what age you are? The reason is because as you grow older you don't want to risk your hard earned money by aggressive investment strategies but at earlier ages you can make up the loss easier. Investment is usually for retirement (not always) so think long term even with short term investments. What I mean by that is that the end result is to have enough money by the time you retire so you can be comfortable.

I don't think that as you become older you are willing to invest less, because i personally feel that people tend to become more willing to take the risk when they are older, as long as they have a continuous income source. If you are younger, you are less likely to take the risk given that you are yet to establish your financial portfolio.

The older you become the more money you have to save in case you need to pay for extra care. I'm not sure where you live, but in the US, Social Security benefits are awful and with inflation rising, how can our senior citizens afford to keep up with paying their own bills, medicines, and day to day items? That's why they need to be careful when living on a fixed income because they can't risk losing their nest egg. Younger people have more opportunities to gain money through multiple employment if they take a loss so they CAN be more aggressive than older people in investing.
