Invite only subforums

I really love the idea of having invite only subforums or those subforums which are secret communities within the bigger community. Rather than allowing anyone to earn access, the members are invited by owner based on certain criteria, such as forum participation; leadership qualities, etc. These private subforums are only visible to those forum members who are part of them. Would you try this idea?

What better way to divide members, eh? It's just like introducing a Spanish-only section to a forum that consists of mostly English-speaking people.
