How do you all feel about the iOS 26 update?

It took me a bit to get used to the Liquid Glass and the photos app being redesigned again…I do love being able to put backgrounds on text threads, though. 😛

Just the redesign from the way the apps look, they’re more see through. That’s really the only major thing I’ve seen on my phone. I think they have Apple Intelligence too but my iPhone 14 doesn’t support that.

I've got an iPhone 16. It took me a little while to do the update, as I had to clear a lot of space off my phone to make room for it. I don't really care for the Liquid Glass design.

Oooh yeah my friend sent me a screenshot of a summary from our group chat and it was absolutely hilarious. I was like I can’t wait to upgrade my phone so I can see those. 🤣

Apple actually recently made a deal with Google, so Google Gemini is the AI that Siri uses. I assume that means that this feature is powered by Gemini as well.

Ask AI about AI 😛 I believe it's called Apple Intelligence, but it only works on newer iPhones.

I'm not a huge fan of the update on my iPhone, even less on my iMac.

Aside from the visual dislike it really annoys me when they change functionality which causes me to search for functions like the browser search history that have been locked away in the darkest dungeon. The continual changes to the library element of the music app which I use most days also drives me crazy.
