IOS vs Android in Theft Protection

When it comes to theft protection, who has the upper hand? IOS or Android devices?

Theft protection? Neither. I can steal an iPhone just as fast as I can an Android. Asking who has the best post-theft protection and recovery would be a better question. Personally, I would have to go with Android. While both platforms have solid recovery options (Android Device Manager and Find My iPhone), Android goes a bit further with requiring a password before booting if enabled using secure boot. In order to boot the phone, a password is required before the phone will complete the booting sequence. If you don't know the password good luck. There's other steps too, but that's a good start.
