Hey guys, well the Festival is now done and im sure everyone who went is tired...(I am). I actually got home at 11am this morning but with very little sleep, (4 hours over 4 nights) i decided to have a nap.
Anyway everyone thinks when i speak of it that the Isle of Wight is some small place in the middle of no where, with nothing ever happening. Well there is this event and then the Bestival in September, and Cowes Week in August. This however is the main event of the year here basically, this is where some top dogs in the world of music come down and play to a crowd of 70,000+ people. This year i was one of them.
I was camping basically next the main arena, drinking every night with everyone in the same field eating BBQs all the time and getting no sleep. This year though was awesome, Friday night we had some pretty amazing people playing such as The Ting Tings, Pendulum, Basement Jaxx and the Prodigy. I saw all of them except Ting Tings as they are cack, Saturday i went and saw Calvin Harris at a tent/stage called the Big Top and then Sunday i saw Pixies and Neil Young which wasnt that good. It was awesome, and i can't wait to see who will be on next year. And i urge anyone who can to come to this event, you will thoroughly enjoy it!
