IP address problem

hi! friends i am from Nepal and i just know that IP address is just a address for my computer,but i am blocked in forum promotion once being listed in IP spammer and when i visit there i find any next person with same IP address listed due to forum spamming.Anyone please clear me how can other people have same IP like mine r misuse my IP,anyway to be safe?

You have a dynamic IP which means that you don't always have the same IP when you connect to the internet. You account here has been used with 4 different IP's from an IP range in Nepal. It means that you are not the only one using that IP and it is shared between all the users in your country or area that uses your ISP.

That means a user can spam using an IP and their IP changes. Then you can pick up that IP address and suffer problems with it because of the actions of a previous user.

I know this is not my thread but It touches on a subject which is relevant to my site. I have a few people in Kenya who want to access my site but they say that when they try to access it - they cant as it is blocked....

I suspect that their ips are blocked but I dont know how to sort that out - any advice?

Do you check registrations against any databases or blacklists like stopforumspam.com etc?

It may also be that they have been blocked by the server firewall.

I know that UCOL's IP address is blocked when I try to access here. I don't know why that this blocked.

Can you send me the IP address? The page you get presented with gives an email to contact and information to help diagnose any issues.
