Well, you probably used a tracker to see your own IP if you wanted to know it.

Don't know what ur doing in your free time, but if you're playing game servers hosted on your own computer then people should know the IP to connect. 🙂

Or if you have your own website (hosted on your own PC) and you want to get a domain like google.com you will need to forward the IP to that domain.

I use http://whatismyip.com all the time for checking my own. I dont really see it as a private info gateway, as most people, including myself, use proxys from time to time to hide or location when we are browsing. This is one of the few sites I dont use a proxy on -8)-

I know a place where they can pinpoint your IP to within a 20 or so mile range.
I just use it to see where my hits are coming from, if a member posts from one, I never check it on that site

I will only use them incase someone decides to cause trouble on my site and doesn't relent. Then I will use them. But they are a good idea on one hand.

These always help me find stuff when I need to 🙂 enjoy using most of them some of them track your stuff and use it for other sites for proxies ect.. So watch out on ones you use.

omg these are very useful thanks for posting 🙂 i love tracking peoples ips..mwahaha

That's the one that I use too. 🙂

I have always been interested in seeing where my best friends on the internet live, but I feel it's kind of messed up and it's like your getting too into their personal privacy, so I won't use one.

Hi,
I use the site IP-Details.com .To find the details of a host name, using the Domain host search provided by the site. And here they are providing IP search which is used to know the details of the Ip like location,Service provider, etc.

I like these links 🙂

Thought I like using the built in one that FM has provided me for the time being.
