The iPad 3. With an outstanding high definition 9.7 inch display with 2048x1536 pixels.
That is TWICE the resolution of a standard 1080p HD monitor. Absolutely breathtaking!
Quad core A5 gaming processor will display games with graphics similar to Xbox & PS3.
A 5MP iSight camera is a huge improvement on the rather bad quality camera of iPad 2.
This camera will also record 1080p HD so you can now see who you're video calling. 😛

This amazing new device goes on sale on March 16th 2012. That's only 8 days time.
You can pre-order on Apple.com now for delivery by March 16th. Prices start from £399.

This device is financially out of my reach so I will have to stick with my iPad 2 for now.
But boy oh boy! As soon as I'm able to afford this device, it better be in stock to buy! 😛

I'd prefer a Kindle Fire.

In fact, my school is giving me a rental iPad (I think it's a 2.) next year, and I'm going to buy a laptop or Kindle Fire because I don't like Apple or its iPads. Probably a laptop, because I generally don't like touchscreen interfaces.

The specs really aren't that different. The only things that have really had an upgrade, are the GPU, screen and the rear camera. :/

The rear camera is now actually worth using for pictures, whilst the front-facing camera is still ridiculous. The screen looks nice, and I was disappointed to still see a dual-core CPU with no upgrade.

Dual Core CPU is fine for now.
Imagine how expensive a quad core would be.
Especially with the Apple logo contributing to the price. 😛

But it's the Quad Core GPU and the amazing Retina display that makes me want this device so badly. Oh well, I shall just have to wait like everyone else. 😛
I can't afford for probably another 6 months or so, at least. LOL! 😛

I think I should get one of those and just ditch Apple :lol:

To be honest Retina display doesn't make a huge difference, although it is fairly nice. Still doesn't make it worth that much.

That's the problem with Apple. People think having an Apple products makes you cooler. I currently have Samsung Galaxy S II and its far better than iPhone. There are better alternatives than the Apple products.

I just don't like apple. 😛 There products are way too expensive, usually aren't as good as other alternatives, and they come out to often, usually with little changes. I mean, all they have changed for this iPad is the processor, screen and camera. If you already have an old one, what is the point in updating it? There isn't one...But people probably do, just to look 'cool'
