I sold my iPad 2 last night.
I bought an iPad 3 16GB WiFi + 4G in white today.
I'm currently using it to post this message on FP. 🙂

The screen is SO clear. It is purely amazing!
I wasn't expecting to be able to buy one for months.
I think I struck lucky, when I sold the iPad 2 on GumTree.

Just letting you know, the iPAd 3 or "NEW IPAD" has major heating issues up to 113 Fahrenheit. You have been warned.

I watch a video from Chris Pirillo an actual iPad user, and tech blogger that the iPad just gets warm to the touch, and not too hot to handle, but it is warmer then the iPad 2. He says a laptop playing a flash video is hotter then the New iPad.

The new iPad is just amazing.
No overheating problems yet, but I have read about them.
I'm sure apple will fix it soon. Either as a software update.
Or if it is a hardware problem by replacing the iPads for free.

But the 2048x1536 screen is so amazingly clear.
I've watched Netflix and been having browsing the Internet.
I've also been connected to Cyber Snake Live Support app.
iPad remains calm, cool, and in its best performance ever. 😉

If someone has overheating problems, that's too bad. I'm sure Apple will help those people out. Most people I've talked to doesn't have any issues. And if you don't want the better display, go for the iPad 2 that's now much cheaper due to the fact that they didn't want to price the new iPad any higher than the iPad 2.

If you don't like the iPad, don't buy it. Other people have different opinions on it but who cares? Let people choose for themselves.

Infact, all the news companies covered it like Washington Post, AMOG, and Fox. Don't believe those, pick one. So before you say I am "talking crap", know what the facts are. If this makes me a guy who talks crap, you're obviously the fanboy in this who is oblivious to the FACTS. 😀

Haha. Sure. Trust the people who looks for controversial stories to get people to their site, don't trust the geeks that actually test these kinds of things.

It's a fact that Consumer Reports say that they had an iPad that was overheating. They should probably send that one back to apple and get a new one. Is it a fact that every single iPad is overheating? No, because most people don't have that problem. How many sites have you found that actually tested this themselves and not just copied their content from Consumer Reports just to get more visitors? If you have any, please post a link.

I'm absolutely no fanboy. I use everything and if I could I would own absolutely everything. Actually, I hate fanboys because they can't see the value of the things they haven't tried themselves.

How many are interested in buying iPad 3 despite having iPad 2? That will tell how good the product is.

Anyway, regarding the specs - they did change. If you look at how technology changes, it goes this way. People want too much, it’s just an upgrade from 2 to 3 - If the name changes, then you can go berserk. $$$ is for the apple logo - that I can agree with all of you. But you still can't argue that this is a good machine and all original from Apple - this is why it’s more expensive. If the price goes low, it would have the same price as the other copycats which should not be acceptable.
