iPad Thief Caught By iCloud Photo

Perth Sheriff Court heard that after stealing the iPad from his neighbour's home, a picture was taken on the device which went straight to the Cloud.

The owner was then notified that new pictures had been sent.

The pictures later led police to the iPad's exact location and to Jeffries.

Fiscal depute Jim Eodanable told the court that Jeffries was a career criminal who had committed 72 crimes in a decade.
