Ive been using IPB for little bit now and Ive gotten comfortable with all aspects of it (using the board itself, moderation tools, ACP, installing stuff / upgrading, etc, etc, etc). Its probably the best software out of what Ive used (phpbb, smf, vBulletin).

Way to go IPB. You rock! :cheer:

So i guess you love it. I was thinking about moving to ipb. I have heard nothing but good thing about ipb. Not to often i see people or hear people bash ipb site's

I really like the community features IPB gives, but I always feel phpBB can come out superior.

I remember especially when the conversion from vBulletin to IPB got big in the early stages of the year, there were a few of us making fun of those converts cause it took them a while to realize that image install is just uploading that image xml file.

But it's good to see that you like IPB. It's been good to me for almost three years now.

IPB is a quality product, without a shadow of doubt. It's very well coded, and designed to suit a variety of themes and niches.

I'm very happy with IPB, they have a friendly community with tons of support when you need it. I recently bought, IP.Nexus and its a great addon!

Same here. It was a bit overwhelming (especially for my co-admin) to get the hang of, but we got it down now. 😀
We are much happier and the community seems to be happier on the new software too. Nothing but positive results from the conversion.

I've been using IPB since around April, and the only negative thing I can say about it is that it has a huge configuration. I prefer MyBBy's neatness and tidyness. But then again it has features that MyBB mightn't even implement in 2.0 so...

Yeah you can get lost in their ACP but once you get the hang of it, its fine. I love the live search feature they have, it makes things easier.

IPB rocks.

I'm a long time vB user and it was almost my favorite commercial forum software. That's changed since vBulletin was sold, and the new owners, eh...not so much. IPB is much more streamlined, and all of the official addons (Blog, Gallery, CMS, Store, etc.) that they offer are pretty awesome.

Yeah the search feature is a total saver for me. I guess that IPB is aimed at more experienced admins, so the clutter shouldn't be a total loss.

Ive always been a fan of IPB because of the features they offer. They also offer great support over there. It can be hard to use the admin cp at first but you get used to it. I recommend it to everyone whos looking for a paid forum software.

No longer a IPB user due to not having any use for it.
