IPB to Xen

I started this topic to get feedback from those who use IPB and Xenforo software, I have interest in going to Xenforo from IPB as I like the look of it and seems xen is more popular with people. Though I'm not sure yet if I will move pending on how IPB 4 looks.

What I'm looking for is people's experiences with Xen, transferring to xen from IPB and is the xen software worth using?

Any feedback is welcome and very detailed posts with pros and cons will be rewarded with FP.

Transferring is easy, Xenforo has converters that are built into the software. in Xenforo just go to admin, tools, then on bottom left import external data, select IPB in the drop down.

IPB seems to overally have more features, as it's been around for longer.
Another thing to add is that you have the advantage of the suite, if that's important for you.

It's a matter of taste. I've met people who despised it. I've met people who loved it.
It really boils down to what you and your community needs.
The problem which I've noticed is that many XenForo forums look more or less the same. It's one of those problems where it might be hard to get a unique look.

I don't really deal with XenForo, so I'm not an expert at this, however I have heard people go on about how expensive the XenForo plugins can be.
Depending on what plugins you need, this may or may not affect you.

I'll have to look into the plugins, though of late I'm not finding anything on IPB that I can add to my forum.
